Pinawa Hospital, an accredited 17-bed acute care hospital was established in 1964. The hospital was recently extensively renovated and included addition of a Community Cancer Care Program in January 2007.
The Pinawa Hospital is located in the town of Pinawa and serves the residents of Pinawa, Lac du Bonnet and the many cottagers in the Whiteshell. The goal is to provide needs-based service in an atmosphere of collaboration and cooperation amongst all stakeholders, especially the public at large. The staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care within the available resources.
